This is a new page of the website where i post all the base materials that you will have to start the scrapbooking or to do crafts. These are not really all the materials that i have, but i'll only show you the materials that you will really have to start, and then i have other materials that you can buy but they are not necessary.

CARDTOCKS

the cardstocks are the most important things that you will have to start. It's more convenient to but the rolled cardstocks (those on the photo), so you can cut bigger things. You need them to make cards, pages of albums,.... Almost all the scrapbooking projects have at least a part of cardstock.

There are a lot of cardstocks' colors but i prefer to use lights colors or vintage and black.

The cardstocks are not all same, because they can be thin, smooth, more resistent,.... The grams can various:

220g is convenient to make cards and albums' pages
200g is convenient to use as the base of the photos (print the picture, attack it on the cardstock, cut it and stick it on the album)

SCRAPBOOK PAPERS

another material that you need and you'll have is the scrapbook paper or designer paper. These papers are use to cover the albums, to make decorations and overall to make more beautiful your creations.

There are a lot of scrapbook papers in the world, but in some country there aren't designer papers, that's why you need to buy from the internet or use the paper gift rapper (like those in the photo). The grams are different:

220-200g (F4 paper) is convenient only for cards
120-160g are the most convenient because you can use them for al your creations.

RECYCLED MAGAZINES OR NEWSPAPERS

this another material is not important. I use these magazines and newspapers to protect my desk when i'm painting or putting the liquid glue on the album, decorations,....

RECYCLED PAPER

i use the recycled paper when i'm trying if my templates function, so i use them when i'm planning.

CARDSTOCKS' SCRAPS

sometimes when i'm doing some album, there are always some cardstocks that in excess, that's why i put them in a box so i can use them when i need to cut some mini deco.

CHIPBOARD OR CARDBOARD (i'm sorry, i forgot to show this material on the video)

this material is very important for the album, because it will be the base of the front and back cover of the album. There are different type of chipboard:

1mm is convenient to use for the album
2mm is not really convenient, but sometimes you really need to use this

PENCIL AND ERASER

the pencil that you need is called "2B", it's use on drawings. The rubber or eraser that you need to use is a simple white rubber.

COMPASS

i Always use the compass to draw round things. I use it specially because i haven't the circle puncher.

RULER

the ruler is the one of the most impostant thing that you need. You can use plastic ruler but it's more convenient to use the metal one.

DOTTER AND PAPER FOLDER OR BONE FOLDER

these two materials are two of the most used materials in scrapbooking world because: the dotter (picture1) is used to mark the folding line and the bone folder (photo2, i have the plastic one) is used to fold properly the paper.
